Our Founder

Ashley & Chris Sabato

Throughout the last 25 years of playing sports, traveling and always trying to expand her knowledge on the things that interest her most, Ashley has found a way to revolve it all around her passion of helping others live a happy healthy life.
In 2009 she received her Certificate of Personal Training through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Since then she has been certified in numerous other programs including; Crossfit, TRX Suspension Training, Law Enforcement Training Specialist, Fitness Nutrition Specialist, Corrective Exercise Specialist among others. With over 10 years experience in Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, Ashley has an extensive foundational background in helping all ages abilities, shapes and sizes.

Chris and Ashely met in 2019 through fitness – a 200 mile relay race. They shared a strong passion for fitness and the rest is history. In their off time outside the gym, they enjoys cooking new recipes, reading books on entrepreneurship, being active with the family and of course motivating others around them to be active and healthy and most importantly how to enjoy life doing so.

Danielle has been teaching Group Ex classes since 2007. She believes that exercise should be fun while making a positive impact on the mind, body and soul! She has a passion to help people become the happiest versions of themselves through exercise. Danielle works as a Paraprofessional and is a wife and mother of 3 amazing children.

Trainer / Coach

Chris is a recent graduate of UMass with a degree in Exercise Science. He has a great deal of experience in powerlifting and has recently started running our Kinds Conditioning program.

Being physically active has always been a part of my life growing up. I played soccer, basketball, volleyball and did track and field from elementary to high school. My transition to Umass Boston was when my fitness journey really started. I met people at the university gym who have inspired me to further explore and appreciate fitness in a way that I didn’t know existed. From then on I discovered CrossFit, joined a weightlifting team, did competitions, got my USA Weightlifting Level 2 certification. Then, finally after overcoming personal and academic struggles, I finished college with a Bachelors in Exercise Science in 2020. My goal is to share what I have learned and experienced with others and to hopefully inspire them to find their meaning in fitness, whether it be for mental health, physical fitness, community or enjoyment.

Owner / Coach

Chris has always had a passion for fitness and being active. With a background in Crossfit and a specialty in agility sports, Chris is a well-rounded athlete who knows just how to motivate you.

Chris is the brains behind the operation. He is the reason GET Fit is always up-to-date with the latest and greatest. He also always makes sure every client he interacts with, leaves feeling stronger than when they came in.

Mike O'Connor

Coach / Trainer

Mike joined Get Fit in 2021 and quickly decided he wanted to be more than just a member. Mike believes that exercise and community are two of the key pillars for a happy and healthy lifestyle. He has a passion to help people become the best version of themselves and understands that exercise and nutrition are vital to achieve this. Mike works as a Real estate agent and is a Bridgewater Native.

Mike played numerous sports including baseball basketball and football at a high level growing up and now enjoys golfing, exercising, and being outside in his free time.



Kevin has been with the GET Fit family since January 2021, first starting as a member, and eventually transitioning to coaching in October.

Kevin first got into the fitness world about ten years ago back in college. He started working with a personal trainer, and from there has gained momentum in his own fitness journey through group exercise. He was a big advocate of spin and bootcamp style classes. He eventually discovered CrossFit in 2018 and came to love Olympic weightlifting. CrossFit challenged Kevin in new ways and pushed him to work on himself harder than ever before. Kevin obtained his CF-L1 in 2021 and uses those skills everyday at GET Fit. His passion for exercise had led him down a path where he wants to help others improve themselves and learn about getting fit.

Kevin has been a Bridgewater resident since 2015. In addition to coaching, he is an insurance agent and a bartender. In his down time (not that there’s much of it), you’ll probably find him working on some type of creative project, on the hunt for a new restaurant to try, indulging in a horror movie, or taking pictures of his cats.

Anyone can work out and get in shape. But since we were established in 2018, we’ve been serving the Bridgewater area with a new way to exercise. Our mission is to create a sense of community that brings people together, teaching them how to enjoy living a healthy lifestyle they can pass on.

Our vision at GET Fit is to use community through fitness in a close-knit setting to strengthen the bond between people, keeping them accountable and motivated.
